First ever NRHA Futurity Open in Czech Rep. for Sayos Senorita! [07.11.08]

  The last show of the season was held on October 25 in Nova Amerika. This year's Slide & Smile gathered a lot of riders from all over Europe, ie. Rudi Kronsteiner, Morey Fisk or Markus Morawitz.

Katka Strakosova with Brooks Legacy finished third in NRHA Rookie and fourth in NRHA Limited Non Pro. Hynek Fister astride KR Happy Hour was fifth in NRHA Limited Open with a score of 137. Klara Salkova was crowned NRHA Ladies Champion with Smart Little Joker and a score of 140. In the prestigious NRHA Lawson Bronze Trophy Open they earned a score of 145,5 and finished on a very good fourth place! The NRHA Open Champion title went to Rudi Kronsteiner with Spat King Delmaso (149).

But the biggest win was yet to come. In the first ever NRHA Lawson Bronze Trophy Futurity held in Czech Rep., Klara Salkova guided Sayos Senorita to the Open Champion title. In the Non Pro Futurity Katka Svedova earned the first place with Bueno Sayo (145,5!).

Czech WRC Championship [07.11.08]

  The Czech WRC Championship was held in Horka on the first weekend of October. Vasek Orlita poved once again that he is in top form. He was crowned Reserve Champion in western pleasure and was won the bronze medal in trail.

In Senior and Amateur reining Helena Tyralova guided AP Colonel San Chico to a double win, thus becoming Czech Amateur and Senior reining Champion. Klara Salkova was third in Senior reining with Smart Chiconita and also third in Junior reining with SK Great Pine Smart. Katka Strakosova was fourth in Junior reining with a 3-year-old stallion Brigths Pride.

NRHA Uniga-cz Cup V [27.09.08]

  This was the fifth NRHA Uniga-cz Cup this year. The show was held in Nova Amerika. Brenda Lesniczakova was crowned NRHA 13&ubder Champion with Miss Pinestein. Sayos Senorita with Klara Salkova in the saddle was third with a score of 67,5 in NRHA SBH 5&under. In NRHA Limited Open Klara Salkova was once again third, this time with Smart Little Joker (69) and Hynek Fister was fourth riding KR Happy Hour (68,5). Klara Salkova guided Smart Little Joker to a Reserve Champion title in NRHA Open. They earned a score of 71. Hynek Fister had a good run and finished fifth with a score of 69,5. Helena Tyralova was third in NRHA Open, riding AP Colonel San Chico (70). In NRHA Non Pro Tamara Koresova was crowned Reserve Champion astride Peppy Bright Star (70).

Czech National Anthem at the Paint Horse European Championship! [19.09.08]

  On September 16th-21st the Paint Horse European Championship was held in Kreuth. We were there with Vasek Orlita and Smart Lucky Mels (owner: M. Huserova). They finished 4th and 5th in Halter 3 & Aged Mares SPB. They were 5th in Hunter Under Saddle SPB and Western Pleasure SPB. But they displayed all their skills in trail. They earned an European Trail Champion title with a score of 207! Congratulations!

September is Paint Horse time! [19.09.08]

  The Slovak Paint Horse Show was held on September 6th in Motesice. We had three horses there: Sass Eze Lassy (with Vasek Orlita), Brigths Pride (with Katka Strakosova) and Smart Lucky Mels (with Vasek Orlita). Sass Eze Lassy was second in Halter 3yo Mares. Smart Lucky Mels was crowned Champion in Halter 4yo & aged Mares and Brights Pride was crowned Halter 3yo Geldings Champion. Smart Lucky Mels was also first in Trail All Ages and Western Pleasure All Ages. Sass Eze Lassy won the Champion title in Junior Western Pleasure and Brights Pride won Reining BS.

The Czech Paint Horse Show took place on week later in Horka. Smart Lucky Mels was first in Halter Aged Mares and in Trail. In Western Pleasure she was third. She also won Hunter Under Saddle in which she was showed for the first time. Sass Eze Lassy was third in Halter 3yo Mares and second in Hunter Under Saddle. Both horses were shown by Vasek Orlita.

Fives Rooster has a dughter [07.11.08]

  On Wednesday, April 23rd, Boomer Nikki gave birth to 'Vojta', a filly by Fives Rooster.

Uniga-cz Cup I [29.04.08]

  On Saturday, April 19th we started our show season with the NRHA show in Nova Amerika. It was the first ever show for Per D Uno (owner Jana Hosakova), Miss Pinestein (owner Klara Salkova, shown for the first time by Brenda Lesniczakova) and This Chic Can Skip (owner Petr Zrzavy). Martina Smirova has shown Sayos Honey for the first time ever.

Marian Stihel guided This Chic Can Skip to the third place in NRHA Limited Open with a score of 68,5. In NRHA Intermediate Open he was Reserve Champion with a score of 67. Klara Salkova and Miss Pinestein finished 5th in NRHA Intermediate Open. Klara and Per D Uno were third in NRHA SBH. Martina Smirova won the NRHA Youth 14-18 division with Sayos Honey and was 4th in NRHA Rookie. Hynek Fister was 6th in NRHA Limited Open astride Conquistador Dun Me. He was crowned NRHA Intermediate Open Champion with Fives Rooster and was 5th in NRHA Open.

Congratulations to Helena Tyralova who was crowned NRHA Rookie and NRHA Intermediate Non Pro Champion and NRHA Limited Non Pro Reserve Champion with AP Colonel San Chico (by Smart Chiconita).

Licenses [17.04.08]

  On Saturday, April 5th, six riders gained their WRC CR western riding licenses and seven other persons obtained their Czech FN reining licenses. Congratulations to all of them.

  On Saturday, April 5th, our ranch will host riders and persons passing exams for WRC CR western riding licenses and Czech FN reining licenses.

New foals [03.04.08]

  On Thursday, March 20th, Spirited Lil Pine gave birth to 'Svetlanka' and two days later, Brooks Legacy gave birth to 'Leonka'. Both fillies are by Smart Chiconita.
